Kayla's Kindergarten Graduation

Kayla's class performed for about 45 minutes singing songs, playing musical hand bells and reciting poems about all of the letters of the alphabet.

Kayla with her best friend Meghan.

Kayla was pretty excited about her graduation and performance.

Spencer Posing

Spencer used the chair to climb up on the desk and get the camera. When I came in, he gave me the camera, posed and said "cheese."

My Baby is Two!

Happy Birthday Spencer!

I made this same cake for Brayden's 2nd birthday. Choo-Choo!

Thanks Grandpa Jim and Mary.

Gymnastics

Kayla and Brayden both did gymnastics this Year. They loved getting medals for their performance.

London Pictures

The church outside our hotel window.
Traffalgar Square and the National Gallery

Allen wanted a picture in front of this sign. He said this is where he and his pals hang out. (His words not mine.)
The Tower of London - the old castle and fortress with the crown jewels.

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace

We thought the gate was prettier than the actual palace. It looks more like a government building than a palace.

There was only about 2 gaurds before the changing of the guards.

We were really excited to see Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guards, but were disappointed because it was really long and boring. A bunch of guards/marching band members marched in the front gate which was really pretty dramatic. A few guards marched back and forth for way too long and then another military marching band and a mounted military marching band came. The band members inside the gate then got out music stands and started playing more band music. We never actually saw the guards change. After an hour of band music and soldiers marching back and forth, we were done.

London - The Shows

We went to London for our 10th anniversary (without the kids). Our favorite thing about London was the shows.
Self portrait in the theatre.

Milan - Girls Trip

I have very few pictures from this trip because my camera battery died after about 5 pictures. Here I am with the lime green walls of our room. I went to Milan with 12 other women. It was a really fun trip.
My roomates were Dani and Celeste.

We stayed in a hostel that was really nice. It even served breakfast.

This is Bergamo, Italy. Milan was a good day trip - I saw the Duomo and Castle, had lots of gelato and the biggest slice of pizza I've ever eaten.
