Allen built a great sand castle for the kids. Other kids came and joined our kids, and they all had a great time speaking different languages to each other.

For April Fools, I made "Fauxberry pie" for dinner. It's really just shepards pie, but it looks like a chocolate berry pie. It was good but my kids are still a little too young to appreciate April Fools. I also emptied a bag of chips and put baby carrots in it and taped it back together for Kayla's lunch along with a note that said "Happy April Fools! Love, Mom." Kayla's teachers thought it was hilarious, but Kayla probably started laughing after they did.
I cut boxes to have sort of a spoiler on the back, so the kids could push them to race them, but they preferred sitting in them. The cars had a paper plate steering wheel. The kids decorated the wheels (also paper plates) and then we attached them with paper fasteners.

I made Brayden a race track birthday cake for his birthday. I put his favorite car on it - "Mr. The King." He then had to put his other Mr. The King car on it, so they can race each other.
