Soccer 2010

Kayla's soccer team was the tiger sharks. She had twins on her team - Julia and Justine - that were really good as well as some scrappy boys. They had a small team, but they did surprisingly well. Kayla had a lot of fun, but it always seemed that she preferred to give the other players and the ball personal space.

Brayden's team name was T-Rex, so they were the purple dinosaurs! Brayden had a lot of fun with his friend Nick, the littlest guy in the front, who loves to clown around.

Center Parcs - Labor Day 2010
For Labor Day weekend, we took advantage of our 3 days off and went to Center Parcs at Het Meerdal in the Netherlands. We stayed in a little bungalow and enjoyed a great family fun weekend.
Our kids thought a bicycle built for 5 would be awesome, but it definitely wasn't. It was a beast, a ton of hard work and our kids couldn't really reach the pedals to help. Brayden also got hurt when I wasn't strong enough to get the 5 of us up a hill and the pedals slipped backward and smashed Brayden's toe. Ouch!
Back to School 2010 - Spangdahlem Elementary, Germany
Brayden's kindergarten teacher was Mr. Watts. He was the perfect kindergarten teacher for Brayden, and Brayden still brags that other teachers would send Mrs. Watts kids they couldn't handle, but he could help any child learn and progress. There was also a teenager that we talked to that said Mr. Watts is such a good teacher, that kids want to fail kindergarten just to have him again. Brayden loved him!
