Christmas Decorations

It's always a lot of fun to get out the Christmas decorations with the kids.  I love having them help decorate the tree.

Kayla and Brayden found fun Christmas hats!

Wonderworld Park

We took a trip out to Wonderworld Park to see the earthquake formed cave.  At one point during the tour, they turned out the lights to show how completely dark and black it was.  I couldn't even see my hand move in front of my face.  The kids didn't like that very much.  We also went into a gravity house where it was incredibly difficult to walk because of the slope in the floor and the lines painted on the walls.  They rolled balls down a ramp and water too, but it looked like they were going up because of the illusion created in the house.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving was an especially eventful day for Allen.  He played football that morning and ended up in the emergency room for a broken pinky (which later needed surgery and pins).  Dinner was great and so were the friends.  We had my mom there, my cousin Chris and his family and Ben and Elaine and their kids.  The kids played and played and had a great time, and we played our own games.

The River Walk

We ate lunch with grandma on the river walk and then went for a little boat tour.  It was another beautiful November day in San Antonio.

The San Antonio Zoo

We had a beautiful day at the San Antonio Zoo.  Even though it was November, it got up to 80 degrees.  It was fun to see all the animals, have grandma buy ice cream and ride the train through Brackenridge Park.

The Children's Museum

We all had a great time at the Children's Museum.  There was a fun bubble contraption, dump truck, mini HEB grocery store and a ball blower & dumper that the kids especially liked.

The Rodeo

We went to a fun little rodeo not far from our house and were able to see longhorn cattle, ropin' and ridin', and Kayla even rode a mechanical bull.  Allen and I also did a little two steppin'.  It was a fun night!
