While Jessenia was visiting, she found a recipe in a magazine for a German panckake. It puffed up a lot and looked kind of crazy. I've never actually seen or heard of these here in Germany, but it was pretty good. It tasted like French toast, and we ate it with homemade jam and cool whip for dessert one night.

we have had that before . . . thought it was supposed to be a breakfast food. it would make a perfect dessert! (for the record, i never saw one the whole time i live in germany, either!)
Trevor makes those! They are so delicious and it's one of Kelsey's favorite meals. Although we call them Dutch Babies.
