We loved Corfu! We rented a car and enjoyed our visit to this beautiful Island.
We went for a boat ride for a closer look at the bright blue phosphorescent water in the Palaiokastrista area.
We also went into a few caves, but the water was a little too rough to go into some of the them.
So picturesque!
I missed.
In this area there is a channel of love that I made Allen drive to because the legend says that if you swim in it with the one you love, your love will last forever. Sounds fun, right? Well, the post cards and books showed various views of this area, but we couldn't exactly figure out which spot was it. The area behind us seemed like it might be it, but it was filled with foamy debris and would have been really difficult to reach, and we didn't want to swim in it, so we settled for a picture.
This was on the North side of the Island, I think. Another beautiful view.
Either this picture or the next is the old fort, that we didn't go see. We were really glad that we rented a car and weren't limited to the sights within walking distance.
This was also near the channel of love. Maybe you can swim through it when the tide is higher.
