We took a boat from Mykonos over to see Delos and the UNESCO world heritage sight of historical ruins honoring the birthplace of the Greek gods Apollo and Artemis. This is the "impressive avenue of lions." We weren't very impressed because it just looked like a lot of rubble, so we took the first boat back to Mykonos.
The windmills on Mykonos were really charming, as was the white washed city and charming narrow alleyways.
We also took a bus ride over to a beach that I think was called "paradise beach," but it was a pebble beach and looked nothing like paradise to us.
